• Manages the full life cycle of each project and assists scientists throughout planning and execution, serves as central repository for all project documents.
• Runs scientific interest groups and helps bridge communications and collaborations between Sidra researchers and clinicians.
• Helps align projects to Sidra Research strategic priorities.

• Responsible for applications to external funding agencies and management of awards.
• Assists applicants and awardees throughout award lifecycle, and assures ongoing compliance with funding body policies.
• Actively scouts and disseminates national and international funding opportunities, and runs Sidra’s internal competitive research funds.

• Manages/coordinates the specialized contracts needed in research (e.g., Collaborative Research Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, Data Use Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Fee-For-Service Agreement, etc.).
• Conducts contractual negotiations with counterparties.

• Aims to bring biomedical innovations from the research laboratory to patients.
• Working closely with clinicians and researchers, identifies, assesses and protects novel discoveries, and works collaboratively with industry through IP licensing and other partnerships

• Responsible for reporting research outcomes and communications.
• Supports trainees, students, volunteers, national graduate associates, visiting scientists, etc.
• Acts as central repository for Sidra-affiliated publications.

Led by Dr. Patricia Hachem

• Responsible for maintaining 2000 m² of research labs operational, safe and compliant.
• Addresses lab requests, resolves incidents, ensures equipment is in good working condition, coordinates maintenance and vendor visits, manages gases, etc.
• Provides training and ensures Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) compliance

Led by Rindai Magezah 

• Responsible for ensuring that research achieves stated objectives, and adheres to institutional, national, and international standards and laws.
• Governs all research at various levels of the research project life cycle through to implementation to achieve, and continuously improve, research quality.

Led by Jason Ramm 

• Responsible for all of Research’s financial management and reporting, project-level setup and accounting.
• Assists requesters with procurement and logistics, manages research stock, manages strategic vendor relationships, etc.
